There are also three vertical creases but they are not severe. The paper is very firm, clean & free from graffiti.
To the top left there are two tiny pin holes. All the edges & corners are sharp and free from tears or nicks. Having been in circulation for a spell has resulted in the paper containing wrinkles & folds. It also contains a number of vertical creases, the centre one being the heaviest which has lightly marked the print, mainly to the bottom edge. Also has a medium horizontal crease through the centre. The paper is still on the firmer side, it has a "1" graffiti mark to the front left side. All the corners & edges are sharp, except for a tiny 1mm tear above the "N" to the top. This note was taken from circulation which has left the paper containing the usual wrinkles & folds. There is also about three vertical light to medium creases & one to each of the bottom corners. It also contains a light horizontal fold through the centre. The paper is still on the firm side but contains a faded graffiti number'1650' to the centre left. The edges & corners are good, along the top edge it has visible wrinkles & a 3mm nick, also a few wrinkles to the bottom edge.T his note has been in circulation for some time which has left the surface with wrinkles & a number of folds in different directions. It also contains two visible creases to the left & two lighter creases one vertically & one horizontally in the centre.
The paper is still on the firm side, is free from pin holes, tares or nicks & the edges, including the corners are only showing the slightest of wear. As can be seen from the picture there is a'400' & a light'23' graffiti mark to the front & to the top on the reverse there is a light blue ink mark.
This note was in circulation which has resulted in the paper having wrinkles over the majority of its surface & a number of folds. There are also two definite creases, (on the left) one running vertical just to the right of the last 8 in the serial number & one horizontal near the centre of the right side. This is another one of these now scarce & collectible early notes which has been in circulation at some time but was found recently, as with the others here in a house clearance. The greater part of the surface contains wrinkles & folds.
It also has two creases, one across each corner at the top. The paper of this one has a slight soft feel from being in circulation. Most of the surface has wrinkles & folds. At least two of the vertical folds are heavy & to the centre top edge the wrinkles are more.The paper is still on the firm side & is free from graffiti or holes. Although there is some wear showing to the top centre edge the rest are very good & corners are still sharp.
It does not contain tears or nicks. This note has been removed from circulation which has resulted in the usual wrinkles over the complete surface. It also contains a number of folds.

This note has been in circulation for a very short time. It contains a few light folds, mainly to three corners. There is the usual'pucker' marks at the ribbon. Horizontally in the centre there is a double mark from a counting machine.
